In this role, you will be responsible for managing the service process from start to finish, ensuring that customers are informed and satisfied with the service they receive. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong customer focus, and a background in the automotive industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression of the dealership.
- Assess customers’ service needs and efficiently convey details to the service team.
- Schedule service appointments and maintain customer records accurately.
- Communicate with customers about recommended services, pricing, and timelines.
- Provide customers with clear explanations of repairs and maintenance services, ensuring they understand the work that will be performed on their vehicles.
- Follow up with customers regarding service progress, upcoming appointments, and service promotions.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.
- Stay informed about product updates, features, and pricing to effectively educate customers.
- Assist in inventory management and control of parts needed for service.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or vocational training in automotive technology is a plus.
- Previous experience in a service advisor, customer service, or automotive technician role preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, service procedures, and customer service principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with service management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
